I had been traveling through South Carolina that week, chasing nature's best moments with my camera in hand. I almost skipped this stop, but something about Lake Keowee's reputation as a boating haven intrigued me. When I arrived and saw the light hitting the waterfront, I couldn't resist.

Framing the shot, I focused on the scene’s balance. The vivid umbrellas against the lush green backdrop, the boats lined up neatly at the dock, and the soft pastel sky above it all. Every detail told a story of life by the water, the kind you want to step into and never leave.
