When I photographed this view, I was drawn to the light reflecting off the cholla spines. The morning sun caught each needle like glass, glowing against the shadowed mountains beyond. I wanted to show the balance between strength and fragility — how something so harsh and protective can appear almost luminous when the light shifts just right.
