When I photographed this scene, it was shortly after sunrise, just after capturing the Paul Bunyan and Babe statues nearby. The soft morning light gave the arch and surrounding brickwork a gentle glow, while the sky still carried subtle sunrise tones. I positioned the shot to emphasize the balance between the archway, gardens, and building beyond, capturing the university in a moment of calm before the day began.
